I like using this argument against Christians (Or any religion) it really seems to baffle them. Quite obvious that religion isn't real when you hear this question.

What we know about God we are responsible and we all know quite a bit

Romans 1: 18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, 19 because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. 20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, 21 because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22 Professing to be wise, they became fools,

2Cr 3:3 [Forasmuch as ye are] manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.

To show off his divine glory and boost his ego. But of course, this isn't much different than the old testament where he ordered death for petty crimes and commanded genocide on dozens of peoples.

@No Chance- I love that you have to use the bible to "prove" that you're right, rot fl

God explains that he will not come for the grand finale until all have at least heard the Word of God. For those who were in ancient times, they had the Bible to read. It was there decision if they didn't listen to it. Others were predestined to fall away from God to prove his glory. Some may say that He picked to save some but let others go but what He's really doing is to give some what they deserve and showing others mercy. make sense?

He didn't! We evolved and then migrated! There is enough scientific evidence to prove this! There is no god! Give it up already!!!!

Romans 1:19,20-

"since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities- his eternal power and divine nature- have been clearly understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse."

God's creation, this world, nature, it's beauty, is a billboard to all humans that there is a God out there. I believe that you can truly ask the true living God to reveal himself to you he will- no matter were you live.

Ecclesiastes 3:11 says that God, "has set eternity in the hearts of men". It's it funny that humans are so interested in the WHY of life? God wants us to notice him, and many do without having to be told.

He does not send them to Hell. All people, Atheists included, are destined to sooner or later return to God. To me, Hell is like a boot camp to which you send unruly children. Some need to stay longer than others, but all eventually leave it. And of course some never have to go. Did you know Christ has returned with a new name as promised in the Bible? Shall we consider what He has to say?

"I have never heard of Bah?'u'll?h," said a young man. I have only recently read about this movement, but I recognize the mission of 'Abdu'l-Bah? and desire to be a disciple. I have always believed in the brotherhood of man as the ultimate solvent of all our national and international difficulties."

"It makes no difference whether you have ever heard of Bah?'u'll?h or not," was the answer, "the man who lives the life according to the teachings of Bah?'u'll?h is already a Bah?'?. On the other hand a man may call himself a Bah?'? for fifty years and if he does not live the life he is not a Bah?'?. An ugly man may call himself handsome, but he deceives no one, and a black man may call himself white yet he deceives no one: not even himself!"

(Abdu'l-Baha, Abdu'l-Baha in London, p. 105)

The principle of the oneness of humankind is the pivot around which all the teachings of Baha'u'llah revolve.

?the purpose of life is to know and worship God, to acquire virtues, to promote the oneness of humankind and to carry forward an ever-advancing civilization

?all humanity was created by one God and is part of one human race

?work performed in the spirit of service is a form of worship

?the soul, created at the moment of conception, is destined by God to reach the afterlife, where it will continue to progress until it attains the presence of God

From the cover of The Baha?is magazine, a publication of the International Baha?i Community

In just over 150 years, the Baha?i Faith has grown from an obscure movement in the Middle East to the second-most widespread of the independent world religions. Embracing people from more than 2,100 ethnic, racial and tribal groups, it is quite likely the most diverse organized body of people on the planet. Its unity challenges prevailing theories about human nature and the prospects for our common future.

I am a Muslim, but question was interesting to me...

It does not matter when or where you live,
not being aware of law never stops a judge, why would it stop an ultimate Judge?

In fact one day every single person will ask this question. Why do we exist?
If that person can not find a satisfying answer to that constant question printed on every intelligent being,
his or her whole existence would mean Nothing.
That is worse than hell, if hell gives our whole existence a meaning, IMHO.

Because he's a cruel evil bastard.
Or because he doesn't exist, and his scripture is an unfortunate patchwork of mythology from many, many different authors.
