i have a question about christianity and homesexuality?
why is it considered so bad in Christianity?
i know the bible doesn't say its wrong to be homosexual, it says its wrong to have sex with the same sex, but i want to know why it's bad, other than God made Adam and eve, not Adam and Steve.

But seriously. It isn't. The only reason it's "wrong" is because some people don't like it and these same people are authoritarian control freaks, so they outlawed it.
"Because the bible says so" is the only real reason you will get out of Christians. They might make up some excuses like, only gays get AIDs or you're more likely to get an STD if you're gay. But that's just all lies.
There is no reason other than some book written by bronze age morons.
All it says is that it's an "abomination". But seeing as a lot of Christians don't bother looking into why their god thinks it's an abomination, they don't really have any great reasons for it. Just that "God doesn't like it".

Not all Christians are homophobic. The most obvious reason Christians (and incidentally most or all other world religions) are homophobic is the high rate of infant mortality in the Bronze Age. If people weren't reproducing at a very high rate, the future of the nation would be at risk.
Religion can be very hypocritical. Years ago the Catholic Church admitted that 30-40% of its priests are gay and none of them were defrocked because of homosexuality. But the Church is against being gay. .

The bible also says it's wrong to pray out loud in public, and that you should pray in secret, at home in your closet.
Yet most Christians *don't* pray at home, in secret, in their closets -- and they make a big show about public prayers, as often as possible.
So why do they get so worked up about homosexuality being wrong according to the bible, yet go around doing exactly what the bible told them was wrong themselves?
The answer is simple: their opposition to homosexuality has nothing to do with the bible, and everything to do with bigotry.
Anything that is against the word of god is evil or sin.
If you break one of the commandments of god you are condemned to the wrath of god.
If you break one of the commandments of god you have broken them all.
It is the will and commandment and righteousness of lord Jesus Christ that removes sin.
therefore we all deserve his wrath but that only the works and mercy of god that brings forth salvation
Leave the church and seek the word of god- the scriptures.
