Default There are 32,000 or more so-called denominations of Christianity. Why is it that each

... for the crusades of the non-Christian Roman catholic church?

Um... Catholicism is a denomination of Christianity.

So it's accurate to say that the Christian religion was responsible.

There are a multitude of denominations in the Muslim faith as well.
Are they all terrorists?

It it wasn't for the Catholics spreading Christianity...there wouldn't be 32,000. There wouldn't be any.

They certainly can't all be right,,,, but they can all be wrong. I don't believe any of them follow the Day YAHUSHUA set apart as special, and call Him by His right name, in obedience to Ex 23:13.

I can see that you believe that ignorance is bliss. You have been listening too much to Pastor Dave (or whatever he is calling himself) According to you then, Christianity began in 1517 with Martin Luther?

First of all Catholicism is by FAR the largest Christian faith. Secondly the Crusades were not the "blame" of the Catholic Church. They were the desire of the various European kings who wished to capture the trade routes from the Far East. They used religion as a rallying cry to "Save the Holy Land". Urban II called for the Second Crusade (I think) because of influence placed on him by various Emperors and Kings.

QUOTE: "There are 32,000 or more so-called denominations of Christianity"

I have yet to see an atheist list those supposed 32,000 denominations of Christianity, or even post a link to such a list. I wonder why that could be?

Still I will give you a hand by starting such a list. Perhaps we can see how many you can add to them?

Orthodox
Anglican
Catholic
Old Catholic
Lutheran
Methodist
Baptist
Seventh Day Adventists
Presbyterians
Society of Friends
Salvation Army
United Reformed Church
Congregational Church
Reformed Churches

There are fourteen to get you going. With another 31,986 still to choose from, you shouldn't have too much difficulty coming up with another twenty, should you?
