Are just a few Christian making the rest of Christianity look bad?
?
Or is it a growing trend? Westboro Baptists, 2012 end-of-wielders, increasing evangelizing on the media, Republicans taken over by anti-homosexuals and anarchists? Glenn Beck?
You sound like a victim of propaganda. You might want to think through your post.
I don't like the guy, but Glenn Beck broadcasts em passioned pleas for peace and non-aggression every day on his show. How is he making Christians look bad?
Also:
Anarchists are liberals, not Christians, and pretty much everyone knows that.
The only bad thing about Christianity is standing by and letting the devil take over running our societies. Why in our God's Name are we allowing this to happen?
No. I think it is more like the following 2 scenarios:
1) The extremist Christians are steering the leadership of their members. And the members are aligning themselves to the extremist agenda.
2) This is the real Christianity, not the pablum previously preached in churches. The sheep are not sheep, but really are the wolves in previous sheep clothing.
Yeah, they are. And because they're so outspoken, and so self-righteous about their own belief system it has turned off a lot of would be Christians and practicing Christians. I mean, who would want to be in Heaven with these people??
But this has been going on for Milena. Look at the destruction of the Crusades, the Spanish Inquisition, the witch trials of Salem, and the pedophiles in the Catholic Church. It really makes even a believing Christian question how the Holy Spirit could be so distorted by the human agenda.
I would have mentioned Hitler, too, but he was really not a Christian. He was an occultist. A very dark and insane cult leader.
Christianity started looking bad around the time of their conquests when they invaded lands, murdered and raped all the Non Christian natives who refused to convert. So Christianity has been tainted for a long time!!!
I agree with one of your examples: Westboro Baptists. History has a few really bad ones. Hitler and the Crusaders. Both plundered, stole, raped and murdered and called themselves Christians.
Its not a few, its thousands that infiltrated the movement, and have caused damage.. So we must look for true Christians , and those you see or hear that are into Fanatics, antics, or soul bashing are the ones to stay away from.
The word is getting harder to get out there, because of the backlash of so many young rebellious people.. However I feel that the sooner these fanatics are removed from the congregations, and brought to light I am sure that Christianity will be strong again. After all they are the only ones that preach the coming of the Savior, and offer the word free to those who are willing to listen.
