Default If christianity can be accepted, what about the rest of the religions in this world?

Don't all the religions in this world have similar stories and characters? Doesn't it all point to the fact that all religions are mythical in true nature.
I'm not despising or condemning Christianity. I was born in a christian family myself and I've been reading bible for years. In the old testament what i could see was "God" making puppets out of humans. All parents simply force their children to believe in such stories without thinking about the real truth.

In the Kalama Sutra, Buddha says.
Do not believe in anything simply because you have heard it..
Do not believe in anything simply because it is spoken and rumored by many.
Do not believe in anything simply because it is found written in your religious books.
Do not believe in anything merely on the authority of your teachers and elders.
Do not believe in traditions because they have been handed down for many generations.

But after observation and analysis, when you find that anything agrees with reason and is conducive to the good and benefit of one and all, then accept it and live up to it.

They are all as valid as each other.

Christianity is bigger. And in the Christian world that makes them think they are more worthy. It's inherent through that faith.

Yes, they are all similar extremely down to stories even but they sometimes like to think they are better than everyone.

About the general question; there are other religions in the world just not as popular. It may not be that they are NOT accepted. Some people may just be more comfortable in their Prue-established faith so why change.

Second part: I agree with you this common fact of civilizations having numerous religions does point out certain elements of humanity and religion in general. What it points out is open to interpretation though. Some may say this points to the fact that there must be a god because we all search for one and some may say this shows that all are made up because of their differences but similarities in basic ideals.
