What makes you think they are not part of Christianity? They believe in a fictitious God who created the world in 6 days, who had a fictitious magical son, born to a fictitious virgin. Sounds like Christianity to me. Oh, my bad, it's a different version of fiction than you are used too.
Like bible fundamentalists wanting to "correct" Catholicism when they're not a part of it nor have any understanding what Catholicism is? It's the same thing. But you can thank bible fundamentalists for the confusion that caused even Jehovah's Witnesses and Mormons to think they're also Christians. The Trinity is what defines Christianity because that's the basic tenet of Christianity so the definition of being a Christian is not just believing that a Jesus exist but that he's also a God.
1. Questioning, doubt, independent thinking, and dissent are discouraged; those who openly question doctrines may be asked to leave.
2. ?Exclusivity: The group is elitist, claiming a special, exalted status for itself, its leadership and members.
3. The group has a polarized us-versus-them mentality, which may cause conflict with the wider society.
4. ?The leadership is not accountable to rank-and-file membership (unlike, for example, teachers, military commanders or ministers, priests, monks, and rabbis of mainstream religious denominations). The rule is from top-down, without the consent of the governed.
5. ?The leadership induces feelings of shame and/or guilt in order to influence and/or control members. Often, this is done through peer pressure and subtle forms of persuasion.
6. ?Subservience to the leader or group often requires members to cut ties with family and friends who do not support the religion. Members are encouraged or required to live and/or socialize only with other group members.
8. The group is preoccupied with bringing in new members, often practicing ?love-bombing? of insecure potential converts.
9. ?Members are expected to devote inordinate amounts of time to the group and group-related activities. Refusal to meet these expectations may lead to discipline or expulsion.
10. The members feel there can be no life outside the context of the group. They believe there is no other way to be, and often fear reprisals to themselves if they consider leaving the group.
too correct is not in their false gospel they printed, they just know that it is the only way they can make money.
Hears a blessing and a our father prayed just for you.Practice the holy rosary for world peace and for your own inner and spiritual renewal.
Practice the heaven sent devotions in the Pieta Prayer book and greater will be your rewards in heaven.
They are so many religions to choose from that I decided not to belong to any of them!!!!!!! Jesus didn't say to join a religion as a matter of fact, he was against those Pharisees who were so religious and didn't even know the truth!!!!! I am a Christian because, I believe in Christ, and that's what being a Christian really means!!!!!!!!
If you do see a brother or sister doing wrong, there's nothing wrong with giving them helpful advice! You can show them in the scripture and have them read for themselves the truth!!!!!
Don't worry too much about these religions because, from what I see, they will always be around!!!!!!
Jehovah Witnesses are Christians. just because we do not believe in the trinity people say we are not christian. learn what Jehovah Witnesses are all about at WNW.watchtower.org
Laugh out Loud. You are funny. Jehovah's Witnesses are Christians.
We are no part of Christendom but we certainly are Christians. You asked this question because you don't know what a true Christian is. All you know are the counterfeit Christians that you hang around that bear bad fruits such as those listed on this site http://www.counterfeitchristians.info/UngodlyActs.html
It is not Christianity that Jehovah's Witnesses correct. It is Christendom and its paganism, spirit ism, doctrines of demons, idolatry, failure to obey Christ commands, murders, and the likes. Christendom is NOT CHRISTIAN.
