Default Atheists (ex-Christians), What is the substitute of Christianity in your life?

What do you occupy your mind with instead of religion and spirituality?

The golden rule, do onto others as you would want them to do onto you. Being a good and descent person does not require a religion.

Philosophy, society, religion, spirituality, etc.

Just because I'm not Christian doesn't mean the subjects of religion and spirituality are boring.

Whoa...so many thumbs down...how could what I had said offend someone?

Nothing. I didn't "substitute" anything for it.

"What do you occupy your mind with instead of religion and spirituality?"
Learning, knowledge, science, my career, my family, my community, etc.

Peace.

They never had Christianity.....so there is nothing to substitute for it

They played at it, like a little girl playing tea party, but Jesus was never in their heart

Physics, mathematics, logic, philosophy, trolling and, very occasionally, all of them at once.

There is no need for a substitute.

I have many things to occupy my mind.

Secular Humanism.

If there is no god to help us, then we must help each other. And we should do so for the right reasons, instead of the fear of hell or the love of a god.

@No Chance Without Jesus

Wow, you sure do claim to know a lot about how I felt and what I thought. How could you possibly know such things?

Or maybe you're just lying.

I thought you were thought not to lie? I wonder what else you may lie about.

me, I'm always doing good things, I'm in the process of adopting (a puppy) and i gave an entire check of mine to an orphanage in Africa....why? i do it because i care not because i want to enter heaven. you know you want to become an atheist. just do it, continue studying the things that will help you make a decision.

Why does there need to be one? Most Christians I've ever known didn't spend much time thinking about it anyway.

The part of my brain I may have used for it, is used for enriching my life and those around me. Not universal for Atheists just this one.

Nothing. The removal of a negative does not require a substitution as its absence yields positivity naturally.
