Default One of the great Indian religious teacher said that "Christianity copied from Hinduis

And another one said that the "Jesus died for our sins" story copied from Zoroastrianism. Perhaps that may be the reason everyone can understand Christianity without doing much research on it. What do you say?
OK, don't post hate comments on him. He is a great person and intellectual. Name is Vivekananda.

Truly all religions are an amalgamation of preexisting belief systems, mixed together and reinterpreted in a new way.

There is a strong relation to the Hindu religion; however, the concept of the trinity is generally attributed to the Greeks. The doctrine of the Trinity, with it?s teaching on the Pre-Incarnate Christ (i.e. that Jesus existed as God the Son for all eternity), originated from Greek philosophy, and not the scriptures. Prominent Greek philosophers which Prue-date Christ had the most influence in the development of the doctrine of the Trinity. The most notable of all philosophers in this regard was Plato.

One aspect of the doctrine of the Trinity is its influence on defining Jesus as the ?Word? (from the Greek word ?logos?) in John 1:1-3:

? John 1:1-3 In the beginning was the Word (logos), and the Word (logos) was with God, and the Word (logos) was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things came into being by Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being. (NAS)

I would love to see this famous teacher actually named, the exact quote given, and maybe a web link? Otherwise, it's just hearsay. If you want to make this point, you need to back it up with facts before we can intelligently comment on it.

Hi sir... I dint think any religious copied from another. Do u think it s a social networking site which may copy the script of other... The teacher might got wrong information or she want to express Hinduism is the best. My view is that all religious teaches us to being human with humanity. We all HIV to respect each others religion.... A nice saying in Sanskrit "NANA MUNINAM NANA MATAH" means every1 has their own view, personality. So, never stress this type f comment

I say those that say such things suppress the truth of God.

Romans 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth.

1 Corinthians 3:19-20 For the wisdom of this world is folly with God. For it is written, "He catches the wise in their craftiness," (20) and again, "The Lord knows the thoughts of the wise, that they are futile."

Hinduism is not a religion It is a culture. Even as a religion, it is the oldest surviving religion or culture.

And when you need to copy, you can only copy from something that has been in existence when you were born.
