Not all Christians believe the same thing about this.
Personally, I believe that God is beyond Time, so that A) and B) can sort of both be true simultaneously. But I'm not sure how to explain that any better.
when you die depending on if you are in the book of life or not, you go to heaven or hell. And then you wait for the final judgment if you are a believer in order to get the crowns.
God is timeless - he does not work in the time frame limitations we have. When we die, whether we are judged before other people die or if there will be a big end times Judgment Day, isn't detailed in Scripture. It doesn't really matter; it certainly isn't a critical belief which has to be "right" for salvation.
Neither is correct. The Christian's sins were judged in Christ, on the Cross. We do not face Judgment again, however the Bible says our works will be judged at the "Judgment(Beamah Seat)Seat of Christ. 1st Corinthians ch apt 3 as I recall. Our works as wood, hay or stubble will be burned, but the Believer is still Saved. The unbelievers are in Hell, awaiting final judgment at the White Throne of Judgment. They are then cast into the Lake of Fire, where the Beast & False Prophet are(having been there at least for 1,000yrs)still being in torments.
When we sleep are we perceptive to the time that has passed? No, we only perceive the lost time when we look at the clock or out the window. I'm not an expert on this in any means, by the way. Just from personal experience I know that when I go to sleep, and actually get a good night's worth of it, I nod off and then I wake up to the alarm in what seems like seconds later. I think death will be the same. We will die, and then, regardless of the time that has passed on earth, we will be in the presence of the Father to be judged.
I have a theory biased upon Bible Scripture that is very interesting
I first learned this Idea from John Coursen a pastor at Calvor Chappel...
a few points before i get into the theory - you must understand these point for the theory to make since...
1. A man came to Jesus and said - My daughter just died - Jesus brought raised the woman from the dead - the woman was Leagally dead - and Lazerith who also legally died - Jesus said they were BOTH SLEEPING - some refer to Abraham's Boosem... but Jesus said "she is just asleep" not Dead although they were Pernounced Dead...
2. Paul said - "to be absent from the body is to be present with Christ"
3. speaking about the Resurection the bible indicates "The dead in Christ will RISE first"
Judgment DAY - is when Jesus comes down from heaven to JUDGE this earth... also know as ARMAGEDON - there will be a SECOND Judgment mention in Revelations as well mostly for the saints - MOST SCOLARS WILL AGREE ON THAT POINT...
Heres the Theory - QUITE INTERESTING...
One day you will DIE... lets just say that you have family in the room with you before you die - you will say "GOOD BYE FAMILY IM ON MY WAY TO LIFE BEYOND HERE"
1. you will close your eyes and then open your eyes and SEE YOUR FAMILY ALREADY THERE - AND YOU WILL SEE YOUR GREAT GRAND KIDS - AND THEIR GREAT GRAND KIDS - ALL AT ONCE...
2. Once you close your eyes you FALL ASLEEP UNTIL THE RAPTURE COMES - "Much like the same kind of sleep of Lazerith and the woman Jesus raised from the Dead"
3. You will sleep until the RAPTURE "the dead in christ will RISE first" we are dead - or asleep until Jesus comes to rapture (RISE UP) us from the dead...
-your spirit is NOT with your body while you sleep - your spirit is GONE FROM THE BODY...
4. DURING THE TIME YOU WERE ASLEEP UNTO THE TIME OF RAPTURE YOU COULD HAVE UNKNOWN AMOUT OF GERNATIONS FROM YOUR FAMILY TREE ALSO ASLEEP AWAITING THE RAPTURE
5. The ratpture hits and EVERYONE is gathered togeather - you get to see EVERYONE at the SAME TIME - ALL AT ONCE...
6. You are not aware of TIME while you sleep - so when you wake up it will be Just as though you were immediatally with christ - "absent from the body is to be present with Christ"
7. THOSE IN CHRIST JESUS WERE ALREADY KNOWN THEY WERE IN JESUS SO THEY ARE NOT IN THE FIRST JUDGMENT...
so the answer to your question is:
IF YOU ARE CHRISTION YOU DO NOT GET JUDGED FOR YOUR SIN - YOU GO TO TO THE SECOND JUDGMENT which is not about SIN rather what you should have done with the knoledge of christ...
IF YOU ARE NOT SAVED then you will NOT BE RAPTURED UP WITH THE SAINTS and you will be JUDGED at a time after the 7 year tribulation period...
I would lean towards A for the Christian and B for the NON Christian...
A) A person who has accepted Jesus
B) A person who has accepted the world
----
in other words
A. Each individual CHRISTIAN is judged (it seems immediately after death) but after the rapture during the SECOND JUDGMENT wich is not based on SIN
B. Each individual NON-CHRISTIAN is judged after the end of the TRIBULATION at somthing called the JUDGMENT...
