I did. I was raised around both traditions (Christian and Jewish) but Judaism just made more since to me and I chose that. What did you choose over Christianity and why, please?

Just interested.

The doubts made more sense.

I grew up in a christian brainwashing church.

But I was able to shield my mind and now I'm religion free.

Islam, don't listen to the news and be influenced by it.. read for yourselves with an open mind and then judge for yourselves.

Raised Christian, had too many questions with answers that didn't make sense, never felt anything that made it seem real to me, so the "something else" I chose is agnostic atheist - I don't know, and in the absence of any evidence to lead me to knowing one way or the other I take what I see as a default position of not believing.

Well I was raised with a Catholic mother and an Atheist father, unfortunately for my father my mother forced him to convert. But I chose atheism after a while because I decided that religion to me did not appeal to my logical mind and that science showed the real answers.

I was raised in a very religious christian family and opted out because of the racism, double standards, hypocrisy I found practiced by most of the followers therein. Pretty much some of the same behavior you find in this place. What I opted to is my own business. Good luck with yours.

When I realized that I could choose between Christianity and no religion at all, I became an atheist.

I was raised Catholic and chose to be an atheist because that made more sense to me.

A persons religious affiliation though far more often than not is an accident of birth. Most Christian's are Christians because that is what they grew up with just as most Muslim's are Muslim's because that is what they grew up with. Kind of hard to claim superiority for any religion under those circumstances.

I chose reality and science over Christianity. Agnosticism, Atheism, and Buddhism. Well I don't believe Buddhism is a religion, but I practice it as my philosophy on life.

Buddhism
first noble truth-Life is suffering
life sucks but people just have ways of diverting their attention so that they can maintain a delusion of happiness or that they are going to be happy in the future.
the future is going to kill you Thur old age, sickness or accident.
