Default Doesn't this lend strong credence to Christianity's authenticity?

The people who were there with Jesus knew he was the truth, because they saw it first hand! That's why they recorded it in words, and systematized it, as such it could never be lost to time. Because they knew how important it was that every human in the future knew Jesus as savior. No other religion ever had, God(s) come down in human form, and live, and die amongst humans. In fact it went against everything religion was back then. So that proves to me that this had to have really happened, as put in the Bible. Because they would not have risked so much for nothing!

Only evidence would lend it credence, and since what you refer to consists only of after the fact anecdotes it doesn't constitute evidence.

What people would those be? All we have is one man's claim that they were there, and that has no more credibility than the existence of the students at Hogwarts.

That's great and all, but the Bible wasn't written during Jesus' supposed lifetime and the people who wrote it had never met Jesus.

Which makes your argument completely wrong now doesn't it?

"...they saw it first hand! That's why they recorded it in words..."

No, they didn't.

That's sort of the point, really...

"No other religion ever had, God(s) come down in human form, and live, and die amongst humans"

Uh, yes, they did, actually.

Other religions ARE based on human forms of God. Many are actually. And their followers also wrote it down. So...

If i were to say that i was god and write it down in a book, that wouldn't make it true, the fact that there were other people believing it still does not make it true, none of that constitutes evidence.

It is true thou, I am god. Blessings upon you xx

The psychopath Arrius Calpurnius Piso invented the composite character known in the New Testament texts as 'Jesus'.

Many people now know the truth about how and why the New Testament was written and why Christianity was created by this psychopath and his family. How come you do not yet know this? Is it because you just have never had that information available to you?

The oldest copy of a gospel is dated to about 120 ad, it is a fragment as big as a credit card. You can imagine how the story changed over time.

...just because (if) you stand around in a Garage, that doesn't make you a Car... anymore then if you read the Bible doesn't make you a Christian !

...and try to remember... God is NOT a "Christian". God is a Righteous, Sovereign and Just God... not a Christian (god)... Christianity is the "religious" spin of the Universal Church of Rome... which knows about Christ about as much as 'Willey Coyote" knows about catching the Roadrunner !

"That's why they recorded it in words, and systematized it, as such it could never be lost to time."

But they didn't. It was only written down decades after the supposed events.
