Default What percentage of Christians use Christianity as a form of prejudice to make themsel

I know some very good Christians. However, it occurred to me that some use Christianity as a kind of prejudice. Just as some people will say "I am superior because", and then cite some thing, like their skin color, ethnicity, or nationality, I think some people use religion to create an "us against them" scenario, pointing out that people who don't agree with them are so wrong they will pay eternally.
I just wonder how many Christians truly lead Christ-like lives, as opposed to those who just can't cope with their own insignificance, and use it to feel superior.

Any opinions?

I think the easier question would be, how many don't. I haven't met many that follow their "God's" teachings

I cannot rely on your authority to assert what a good Christian is, firstly. That's why I have a bible. Secondly, this isn't about me. If I die and burn in hell for what I've done in this life, it's a no-contest decision as far as I'm concerned. I know I've done evil in this life, just like everyone else. What gives you the unique authority to know what a good Christian is? Unless you actually believe that the bible says, your opinion really doesn't carry much weight as far as I'm concerned. At any rate, if God says that sinners will go to hell for their unbelief, who am I to argue?

First of all since prejudice people don't ever SEE themselves as bigots, racists or hateful then there is NO WAY to accurately Gage such a question. And secondly, I would venture to say that hatred, bigotry and prejudice are NEVER just religiously based - there are plenty of hateful, bigots who are atheists and every other line of thought too... TO generalize and point solely at imperfect, flawed or hypocritical Christians ONLY is rather...... well....prejudice I must say!

100%, absolutely. Maybe I could be bargained down to 99%, if evidence to the contrary were turned up.
