Opposites create Opposites. Educated Singularity stupid, empowering evil way of life. Religious / academic taught Singularity is Evil & Murder. Academia has enslaved you as a Word Animal - kneel, you educated stupid jackass. I can lead you to 4 Wisdom, but I can't free your brain from the evil of singularity.

Um, Jesus is the Christ. There is no difference between Jesus or Christ. His name is Jesus and He is the Christ (Messiah) so Christianity is an appropriate name.

Myeh. Christianity is about God in Christ. That works for me. The alternative sounds too "new-age" and Gnostic for my liking.

"Christian" - "worship someone who's anointed".

They have to understand the words they use before they can make sense in conversation.

My "faith" remains secure in Jesus. My expression of what I believe, IE, my "religion" is fundamental Baptist. I see no need to change anything.

Not sure how much more anyone can "dumb down" Christianity.

You just have to believe in invisible, supernatural beings spending thousands of years fighting over invisible "souls" of people, a couple of fantasy worlds - one good, one bad - where "souls" live for eternity, all based on a book that was pieced together almost 2000 years ago by Roman politicians, edited countless times, translated into dozens of languages, but is the inerrant "word of god", except for the bad parts about slavery and murder. Oh yeah, and those other gods/religions out there are all ridiculous lies.

Makes sense to me.

I understand the need to focus on Jesus instead of the form and structure of religion that is often interpreted as being Christian. I think people would still identify you as Christian as long as you believed most of what they believe. Intellectual consensus is everything.

Jesus is amazing, but religion is completely evil.

Jesus said that He would build His church. The church is the body of Christ in Jesus' bodily absence. His Spirit lives within the true members of His body. So being a part of the church IS Jesus-ism. Being a Lone Ranger is disobedience.

There is such a thing as being too modern.

Also Jesus is a name so Jesus-ism could be hijacked by random people called Jesus
