Default Doesnt christianity just give us what we want?

most people dint like the idea of being dead. Didnt humans just invent certainty and the other religions so we can avoid having to face the prospect of non existence

Yes. You see, religious people are obsessed with childish concepts such as "heaven" and "hell" because they are unable to accept that when they die they simply cease to exist.

They can't handle their fear of death, and would rather believe in the Easter Bunny and have a 'lovely happy beautiful time in a place called heaven' than face the reality that ashes to ashes, dust to dust means just that.

That's part of it, but religion was primarily created to explain what people did not understand in the world. Now that we have science, we don't need it.

That; and as a means for controlling and stealing from other people. Christianity is also a quite valuable tool for child molesters.

Not really. Some people LIKE being dead.

It's a question of how life has originated. If life is a product of chance then it has no higher purpose and it will end at death. On the other hand, if God has created life then its purpose is altogether different and it need not end at death.

It boils down to what you believe about the origin of life.

I don't think so.

God was invented to answer questions for which there are no answers.

Christianity was invented to control sheepLend empty their wallets, at least that is what the Roman Catholic Church desired by inventing Paulianity. Heaven and hell are tools to incite guilt and fear in sheeple the Church wanted to fleece.

Xianity is primarily about service and self sacrifice, as exemplified by Jesus. Jesus said: Take up your cross and follow me." "Whoever will be first shall be the servant of all," etc, etc.

It's not meant to be a picnic.

If you don't understand what heaven and hell truly are then you cant say they dint exist. Most people think heaven and hell are a place with golden gates in the sky and fiery inferno of death in the underworld.

That is not correct. IT is easy for truth to get twisted and lost.

Because the universe is energy and everything that holds its own existence also holds its own frequency, that means heaven and hell are also "places" of frequency. Heaven is ANY place, on earth, after death, or elsewhere, where there is very high energy, high vibrations. Places that hold great love, harmony and peace resonate at very high frequencies. A place like an airport(where feelings and energy are mainly neutral) are surprisingly high in vibration, so is nature, and loving environments. These places are heaven on earth.

So the obvious, hell is any place which is very low frequency. Feelings of hate, anger, guilt, etc are all low frequency vibrations. Places filled with conflict and negative vibrations such as parts of Africa, concentrations camps during the reign of Hitler, and certain negative based cults and groups are literally hell on earth.

Yes these places do exist. One can experience heaven or hell in their own minds. It doesn't take a genius to figure that one out. Truth is a lot deeper than most people are willing to go. IT isn't based on religion, stories, or myths. Its actually quite scientific and can be pr oven if the right person is willing to look deeper, learn, and see how things connect. But you will likely need a lot more experience before that happens. And dint ever expect to understand the infinite universe with a brain the size of a melon!

People make conclusions about religion, god, science, the universe..before they have any real understanding of them.

My best advice to you, remain open to every possibility, the universe will come to you and the truth will come out of you.

no.. God created everything, including us. and he is working on heaven at this very moment. and he will come back and get the Christians on Earth when he does. so our job as Christians is to bring other people to the path of God. which is not always easy. so no. it doesn't "just give us what we want". if we pray for something and it is in God's will, he shall give it to us somehow. Get a bible from your local church or what have you, and start from the beginning. it ll explain it alto better than i can.
