No. Today's Christianity is such a watered down version. I think that many Christians have really lost the true meaning of what it means to be Christian.
Seriously? You didn't know that the thing has been plagiarized from previous sun cult myths? Then re-written hundreds of times, translated, changed for political reasons many times and generally , well, all made the hell up.
Nazarene means "from Nazareth", Since the land on which Nazareth stands was a cemetery in the first century, there were no Nazarenes in the first century. There were Nazorites in the first century, but that only referred to piety, not to a place.
"Christianity" in the first century? Well ... since we have nothing in writing about it except for a passing reference in Josephus (and an even more fleeting one in Tacitus), we can't know. It was definitely a sect of Judaism, though - we do know that much. (I'm talking about knowledge, not Christian tradition.) So no, current Christianity is nothing at all like original Christianity.
Today's Christianity is pancreatic. That means it is a blend of a number of religions. Some of the religions that were blended together were ancient Egyptian Mythology, Mithra-ism and Zoroastrianism.
Constantine the Great decided what the Church would believe in 325 A D and he worshiped Mithra. So hence the reason why Mithra-ism is now part of Christianity.
I'm having trouble believing this question is serious. If you mean the magazine, on line or not, called Today's Christianity, "no" it's nothing like biblical, first century Christ following also known as Nazarene's.
