I know practically nothing about the Aztecs and their religion or gods,but there is no 'connection' between Christianity and any other religion,except of course Judaism which was a precursor of sorts to Christianity and its books actually part of Christianity. And also there is no separate 'South American Christianity' ,its all one faith in the Savior,Christ. There are,unfortunately, numerous denominations of Christianity and in your question you might have meant Catholicism which is the denomination of most South Americans. But even in their case the answer as to connections to the Aztec religion is still the same .There is none.
