what religion(s) beside Christianity evangelize because they care about other people'
If anyone has anything to say like "Christians dint care bout other peoples souls" then dint even bother putting an answer.
Im asking because Im trying to prove to someone that Im trying to get him to come to Christ out of a pure heart & not for personal gain.
Mormons only evangelize so they themselves can get into heaven. Mormons believe that to be saved u have to do works.
To my knowledge Christianity is the only one.Our church:
Transformation Christian Church and World Outreach Center,where we transform lives through the Power of God's Word the World Over. The teach nothing but the truth, and we more about souls and how many we can bring into the Kingdom of God.
Christians evangelize because they are directed to do so. If they truly cared about the souls of others, the evangelizing would be so loud, nothing else would be heard.
All religions evangelize to some extent, else they wouldn't spread.
If you dint consider Mormons as a branch of Christianity then they evangelize out of care as well....why else would missionaries be out on the streets?
Our job as Christians is to get the name of Jesus out and so the world will Know him...and call upon his name and ask him into their life...yes, so they can have eternal life and live a life more abundantly!!! We do care because we have the heart of Jesus and know His concern and where His love is!!! GOD BLESS!!!!
Who ever answer that only Mormons evangelize is incorrect. Christians evangelize that's why we have Evangelist. We just don't believe in pushing our faith onto other people. The bible tells us that one plants the seed, another waters, and God gives the increase. Which means God will bring them into Himself because only He can save.
Only the christian sects evangelize, with the exception of Catholics. Good Christians do care for others souls but through my own personal experience, most should practice the "remove the board from your own eye, before removing the mote in your neighbors". I myself cannot stand to be preached at. I feel that any religion that has to push itself onto people to prove themselves to be right should look at 2 non-evangelical religions for evidence that it is not necessary: they are the Jewish faiths and true Islam (not the militant fanaticism). They have out grown Christianity as the largest practices religions. However the oldest is that of the Pagan sects. It has continued to flourish and grow in spite of oppressive evangelical religions. Why? because we keep to ourselves and just practicing being the best we can in our daily lives. Realizing that we must be good to ourselves before we can do good for others, and without religious overtones. That is true good works, when it is done because it needs to be and not in the name of a religion.
so far that i know, only Christians evangelize. yes, evangelism is good, but i think people are programmed to such extent that their minds are closed. i agree that they should be well versed with the Bible before doing evangelism. but honestly, the way these people approach others is somewhat unsuitable.
