If you dint understand it, dint put it down. The only reason why Christianity looks like a hypocrisy is because of hypocrites saying they are Christians, just like with any religion! Christianity itself is not a hypocrisy, the people that corrupt the idea of it are!!!

I was never raised with religion, and I dont go to church, but I do know that there is a higher power and I have witnessed little myself, satan doesnt perform miracles, and athiests think what? That miracles are just coincidences? Thats because you can't come up with a better answer.
Psalms chapter 14 does not put down athiests. It simply says that if you do not believe in God, you are corrupt. I believe this, but I dont shove religion down anyones throat. The "original bible" was invented by Roman Emperor Constantine in 325 CE (AD) and edited by King James VI & I in 1611 CE. Christians cite it as the "word of God" so they must believe that Roman Emperor Constantine was God. There is no other choice.
And, according to the "word of God" (Roman Emperor Constantine) Christians love to be hated & ridiculed.

free speech is one of the things that makes our great country great. unfortunately for you, you don't get to agree with everyone on every point.
buck up, little camper... one of the best points of Christianity (as i understand it) is to set a better example by how you act, not judge the acts of others. that's taken care of by a higher power, isn't it?
because they are hiding their own sins..... gays and straight people who just wanna have sex etc etc... dint wanna hear about Christianity or morals. its easier to be WEAK and attack a hypocritical or false Christian than to just stop their evil deeds and become a good Christian themselves......they have to stop looking for girls to "hook up" with if they stop attacking Christainity... they ll have to stop looking at porn, and cant admit they have a problem...... they have to start caring.... and thAt's Wayd for them.
Maybe Christians should take your advice. They have been putting down atheists for centuries (some times even torturing and killing them). Even the bible itself puts down atheists. Now when it comes back to them Christians don't like it.
Funny thing is, you are just as much of a hypocrite. As long as you follow a book that puts down non believers, you have no right to complain when people put your religion down.
The people put down Jesus when he walked this earth. He also said you will be persecuted for his namesake. Feel lucky to be safe at home it's only a computer they can't physical hurt you.
Christians will always be persecuted, it comes with the territory, just continue to pray for these ignorant people out here. Pray that they come to know the truth and receive Jesus into their lives. You can not wage a mind war with these people. Most of them have very incorrect facts about religion and spiritually.
Being a Christian is not a religion; it's a lifestyle. Being Muslim, and Protestant, and etc is a religion. It's sad that there are people that believe in no God or believe in a God that is dead. Unfortunately a lot of those people will have to find out the hard way that there is a God and he is very much alive. I continue to pray that those who do not believe come to a revelation very soon.
People are afraid of things they don't understand and will continue to put down Christianity and other religions until the end of time, which will be soon. So just pray for them and continue to do what is right.
Is best to be a person of faith and realize that the kingdom of God is within you. Yes, a lot of that was Anathematized from the original text for the Bible. But if you need proof to confirm something know that without inner peace there is no love (no GOD); That is what Christ should be, in you. The love of God Through Christ is easily shared with out denomination. Love, simply is love and that is God. And for those that can't understand this is because, peace is a subjective word. What is peace to one is hate to someone else. But if you allow yourself to receive the Holy Spirit by admitting the way you have lived your life is wrong, then it knows God's way and it will guide you. If you follow God through Christ (without Idoltry) keeping's his commandments and his, 7 Holy Days of the Year you are both a Christian and a Jew. The Holy Spirit will guide you in spirit and in truth without false worshiping and to learn how to call his name. YAHWEH or YHWH son: Yahshuah or Yehshuah. I am Latina, and only Our Father knows what a journey it has been. An eternity lost without him. You see, my tribe from the 12 tribes did a lot of idol try, and I was lost adopting their beliefs also. But the spirit of Yah is...LOVE!
If you don't understand it, don't put it down. The only reason Wicca looks like it has anything to do with blood sacrifice or devil worship or harmful spells/potions, etc. is because people who are involved with it falsely claim to be Wiccan (not to mention the hateful literature written about imaginary devil worshipers during the Burning Times, and then people falsely associating it with Wicca - a religion not even in existence until 1940)! Wicca itself is not evil, the people that corrupt the idea of it are!
And I could say something similar about any other religion out there. Christians aren't the only ones taking flack for perverted ideas of their religion. If you're going to stand up for the rights of one religion, stand up for ALL OF THEM.

It seems that the only reason that you asked this question, was to put down other religions. How sad for you. Why can't people just practice what they believe, and not be so negative about other people's religions?
Honestly, I couldn't agree with you more. There are too many JacobsBSalling themselves Christians and saying we should kill people or something like that and there are far too many people who choose to believe that these people speak for all Christians.
However, don't issue a double standard. When you say that mine is not a real religion you only make yourself out to be one of those hypocrites.
About as sick as I am of people saying paganism or Wicca (excluding Leveyanism or the other version of Satanism), worship of evil or the devil.
I dislike hypocrites of just about any religion.
Wicca is a recognized religion, it is just a fairly new one (founded around the 1940s or 1950s). It is based off of older beliefs from various religions (heavy influence from Celtic religions), but is not ancient in and of itself.
I suppose that people should specify the specific type of christian that they are irritated with (fun dis, close minded, those who try to shove their beliefs down your throat).
Personally I think people should lead or teach by example, live your beliefs (kindness, and acceptance of your fellow humans).
You say Wicca is not a religion, but the Supreme Court says differently. I can wager a guess that they are vastly more educated than you . So who is wrong.
I think that Jesus had a great message. Love thy neighbor, turn the other cheek, etc. But most Christians use their faith as an excuse to belittle and discriminate against others. YOu are one of those people.
YOu claim Wicca is not a religion. YOu are being a BAD representative to your religion. We get a bad idea about Christians because they claim their religion is the ONLY WAY.
YOu have no more proof than anyone else that your way is the only correct one. Wiccans believe that there are many paths to enlightenment. In fact there are Wiccans who still believe in Jesus.
You dismiss all religions as having any truth because a book tells you to. A book that was pr oven to have been written by men with their own political agendas. In fact, there isn't any Gospel in Jesus own words. Don't you find that curious??
I am not trying to say you shouldn't be Christian, but don't judge other religions. Because its not your place. You are not better than anyone else. You are equal. You are a part of the universe just like me.
