2) Daoist(s) / Taoist(s)

"Confucianistic" is a derived adjective (as is, for that matter, "Daoistic / Taoistic").

I think it only right that they be called Confucianists. I cannot think of any other reason. Why are Christians called that and not Jesusists. I don't mean to sound condescending but you have opened a whole new can of worms with your question. If we as a people could only accept 'life on life's terms' mishaps life would be a good thing for all of us. Instead we ask these lame questions about others beliefs and "religions," that we find no comfort in our own back yards. I guess being the humans that we are, it is only proper that we behave in the inept manner we do. I do hope you find the answers to your queries.
