Confucius: everyone respects their elders
Taoist: everyone does what they feel like doing and there are very little rules

Confucianism is about respect, not only of elders. Confucius is the one who said "do unto others as you would have others do unto you" not Jesus as so many people think.
Taoism is not about doing whatever you feel like, it's more about "go with the flow". In other words, live whatever is happening at the moment, don't try to stop or alter events, just live them and learn from them. In other words, if it's raining, do rain, don't try to make it sunny. Taoist believe that when we try to change a situation, it's like swimming upstream. It creates negative energy and struggles and anxiety, etc., even when what we are trying to do it for good reasons, so just go with the flow and live the experiences that are coming at you.
