No. Confucianism only has 6 million followers. Buddhism has 300+ million. Taoism has way more followers than Confucianism.
And the word you're looking for is "philosophies" to replace "methods of thinking". =\

Nope. Currently, It would be Hinduism, Buddhism, and Islam.
The area you speak of is dominated mainly by Hinduism (India and Sri Lanka, among other areas), various forms of Buddhism in southeast Asia along with Islam.
