Default Are Confucianism and Buddhism the two strongest cultural forces in East and Southeast

Mainland SE Asia has a lot of Buddhism
East Asia has much Buddhism and Confucianism
Nihilism: true but I'm trying to phrase my question better this time

Buddhism stemmed from Hinduism, so I'd but Hinduism ahead of Confucianism. India is Hindu, and it contains almost 1/4 of the world's population.
