Default Confucianism and Taoism?

does Confucianism have any Gods?
and does Taoism have any?
if so, who are they and what do they represent?
also, do any of these religions believe in heaven? or the afterlife?
Confucianism is being debated about whether its a religion or not. i believe its a philosophy, and i really dint need to know what it is. i just made an error when i wrote "these religions".

From what I know, Taoism doesn't have to involve gods, and Confucianism isn't really a religion. Confucianism focuses on social life, and Taoism focuses on spiritual life.

Hon, Confucianism is a philosophy, not a religion. Confucianism does not have any gods.

edit: Okay so you made an error when typing 'these religions' and you gave me a thumbs down for not knowing you already knew what Confucianism is?

The God of Confucianism is Ti'en, or 'Heaven."

Taoism has numerous deities.

In addition, both practice ancestor worship.

I'd have to do some digging, but both are considered to be religions. Confucianism is built around the wisdom of Confucius and I think could be more accurately considered a humanist religion, not having to do with deity.

Taoism is a form of Shamanism. Taoist propriety and ethics emphasize the Three Jewels of the Tao: compassion, moderation, and humility. Taoist thought focuses on Wu Wei (non-action), spontaneity, transformation and emptiness/omnipotence. An emphasis is placed on the link between people and nature, and that this link lessens the need for rules and order, leading one to a better understanding of the world and ones surroundings.

In that regard, neither religion has deity as part of its structure. Both have lost significant adherents due to Communism and the influx of Bhuddism in the region. Once major world religions, they, along with Shinto from Japan now have less than 1.2% of the world's population as followers - combined.

No and No. Although I have studied them in depth .And find they are a knowledge .I have a collection of books and found that the authentic Tao is very good .but there are a lot of English versions that are not authentic.I have the original version .Translated versions are out there .They are usually accompanied by both .
