Confucianism believes one should respect their elders.
Taoism has no rituals.
Confucianism is highly ritualistic.

Diametrically opposed.

Confucianism is rigid, structured.
Taoism is fluid flexible

Daoism - (Taoism) Nature religion emphasis on the way. How action arises from non-action. To be one with Tao (way).

Confucius - More of a code of conduct. Morality of personal ethics in life as well as in government. How to relate to one another. Sincerity of action.
