Sagehood

I'm looking into the differences between sagehood under Taoism and Confucianism.

I know that Confucianism very much endorsed the idea of sagehood as it was a key tenet of the school of thought. I also know that Taoism wanted to abolish sagehood because they thought that it was best to live life naturally without interfering. Let nature take its course.

I guess, in particular, I'm looking into the particular arguments Confucianism would make for keeping sagehood and what arguments Taoism would use against Confucianism on the topic of sagehood.
