Confucianism and Taoism developed almost at the same time (circa 500 BCE), although probably Confucianism predates by a century or two. Buddhism came to China about 500 years after these two (circa 0 CE).
However, Buddhism itself developed at around 400 BCE in India.
No, it goes Confucianism, Taoism, and then Buddhism. Taoism came really closely after Confucianism. I believe Buddhism came to China sometime around the 100's.

lost my textbook, whew! Ok. Taoism was developed by a man named Lao Tzu (according to history/myth). He lived around 600 B.C.E. and he wrote the Tao Te Ching, the basic text of Taoism. Buddhism was an import to China, brought by the missionary Bodhidarma around 470 C.E. which was about 1000 years after Taoism. Confucius lived about the same time as Lao Tzu, but never intended his work to become a religion. It didn't become a religion until about the beginning of the Common era, so chronologically, in China, it is Taoism, Confucianism, Buddhism.
