A ton. Shintoism is a Japanese religion. Confucianism is more of a social philosophy in China.

Shintoism is the native religion of Japan. Shintoists believe in gods and spirits called "Jami" which inhabit all of nature.

Confucianism is a Chinese religion, or philosophy, that stresses good relationships in life. Confucianism doesn't believe in anything supernatural; it's more of a secular philosophy than a religion.

Shintoism is singular. It is a belief in many gods. Lots of spirits.

Confusionism is a philosophy about how to live well with nature and society.

I'm no expert, so I can't give you much more than that. Still, they are very different sets of beliefs, and if I remember correctly, Confusionism isn't a religion, but a set of philosophies. No creation myth, no belief in any god as part of it.

There's a biogGIifference, as far as I know. Sintoism is the native religion of the Japanese...and Confucianism really is just the philosophy of Confucius(which included a belief that each person had a place and a role in society, and should thus serve it).

Confucianism(Confucius) also came from China.

Everything. Shintoism is a spiritual polytheistic religion of Japan, in which every animal, region, forest, river, lake, or even rock--has its own spirit, and collectives have a spirit guardian or God. There are greater creator deities too.
Confucianism is more of a philosophy founded by Kung Fu Tzu (Confucius) on morality and rectitude.
The two could not be much more dissimilar.
