Default I have a few questions about Druidism?

1. What are all the deities of this religion, and what do they represent?
2. What are the basic beliefs?
3. Is Magick/witchcraft usually practiced?

If you could also provide some useful and easy-to-understand websites, that would be great!

1. That entirely depends on the Druid. Some Druids worship ancient Celtic gods; others are pantheistic or animistic.

2. There is no set dogma, but Druids follow the cycles of the seasons and venerate their ancestors. Druid ceremonies also often involve meditation and visualization.

3. Some Druids do practice magic.

It's important to note that the Druidry practiced today is a loose reconstruction of ancient Druidry. Ancient Druids believed some things that modern Druids no longer subscribe to, and some modern Druids have eclectic practices, some of which ancient Druids never practiced.

answer: starring for my contacts that might have up-to-date websites.

1. Depends on if you're referring to druids from Continental Europe, Scotland or Ireland - each had very similar deities, some theorize that the deities were the same but with different names. The deities typically represented elements, powers, seasons, etc - Sun, moon, winter, war, etc.

2. That everything is connect, especially humankind to the earth and that to ignore that puts humankind at odds with the earth. That reverence of the earth is accomplished by caring for the earth and celebrating seasonal changes.

3. Yes, of a sort.

The only things known about them were written by the Romans such as Julius Caesar.

The reference below might answer your questions.

What you're likely thinking of is Noe-druidism. It likely bears almost no resemblance to the druids of 2000 years ago. Likely someone read the roman descriptions and added their own imaginations.
