The only information still in existence regarding Druidism are writings by Roman scholars who did not practice the religion and only observed it as outsiders. Modern Druidism is an attempt at reconstruction of that ancient religion, but a lot of it is guesswork since none of the Druids or their students survived to modern times and they left no written records.

99% of what I know is 2ND hand. All from close friends of Druids, rather than the Media.

I'd suggest checking out WitchVox, or Google it. The Wiki entry isn't to bad. I'd suggest extra key words like "Bonewitz", "Neo-Druid" or "NeoDruid"

.

There's not a lot of info left. The Romans killed most, and the Christians burned off the rest of them during the dark ages.

Druidism now is just a guess about how it used to be practiced.

You might look at books by Anne Ross on the historical Druids. Her books are real, neutral history, though. Below is a link to the one of her books that I have read, "Druids: Preachers of Immortality."

Your local public library can probably get the books via inter library loan.

I'm sure the Noe-druids can reassure you concerning the ancient druid practice of human sacrifice.
