Well, I could tell you a lot about Wicca, but I don't know much about druids.
Hopefully someone else on here knows more than I....

Neo-Druidism is an attempt to reconstruct what Druids practiced.

Wicca is a new religion made popular in the 50s. The only thing that really unites Wiccans is the Wiccan Rede. (This does not unite them with Neo-Druids)

Edit: I didn't say they follow the Wiccan Rede; I understand how you misinterpreted what I said.

... I have to point out, contrary to what Aaron just stated, that Neo-Druids DO NOT follow the Wiccan Rede. The Rede applies only within Wicca.

I have practiced Druidry for over 15 years..before that I had a hand in Wicca. I'm going to give you my opinion on this...

Wicca is more magi ck based, while Druidry is more nature based. Yes, I know Wiccans are nature-lovers as well, but Druid magi ck stems more from tree lore and is based within the Celtic pantheon. Wiccans can chose from various pantheons when doing their spell work.

Druidry also believes in necromancy while some Wiccans shy away from that.

Both believe in 8 holidays in their respective Wheels of the Year, while Wicca refers to them as Sabbats, Druids call them Grove Festivals. And the names vary somewhat, as much of traditional Druidry names come from ancient Welsh/Gaelic.

There are many differences but in reality both are nature-based religions and both have been around since before Christianity. They are both able to be labelled as 'Old Religions'.

I could go on for a while, and if you need any further information please feel free to email me your questions. I'll help with what I can.

Good luck!

Also, one more thing - Druidry does not have a 'Rede' like Wicca does, but we have an established system of Triads that have been passed down from mentor to apprentice for years.

Druidism is more a paternal Sun religion, while Wicca is a maternal Moon religion.
Both believe in the God and the Goddess, but Druids choose more for the God, while Wicca will choose more for the Goddess.
Wicca believes in the polarity between God-Goddess, while Druids do not.
Neo-Druidism is older than Wicca.
Druids perform public rituals, while most Wiccans prefer private rituals. Though Wiccans go nowadays more public as well (see Sacred Well Congregation)
Wiccans work in Covens, while Druids work in Groves or Nemetons.
In the beginning years Druids were more influenced by Christianty. Nowadays Druids break with Christianity to become full pagan.
Wiccans were always pagan.
Both have a very good understanding with each other.
New Order of Druids and Greencraft Wicca are often together, even in performing rituals.

Wicca was Gerald Gardner's attempt to recreate a Prue-Christian British tradition, based on Margaret Murray's archaeological work, and how he understood witchcraft.

Neodruidism, or ADF Druidry, is the creation of Isaac Bonewits, and his attempt to more accurately recreate a Pan-European spiritual tradition.

So, Wicca was designed as a British paganism, Neodruids can use British paganism, or French, or German, or Italian or whatever.

Both have evolved from their original outline.

Now, this is slightly different than OBOD Druidry, reborn under Ross Nichols, which before Philip Carr-Gromm was a relatively Christo-pagan spiritual tradition. (you could be pagan or Christian and practice it) This is the type of Druidry that writers like William Blake practiced during the Christian era.
