What is Druidism, what makes it better than Christianity?
Uh, yeah so I was reading. It seems awesome. I didn't know how to word that question, so yeah.
My real question is what do Druids believe? Like are they closer to atheists or pagans? From what I read it seemed like they praised nature, but I couldn't tell. So I'm asking you, what is it?
Druidism is just another ancient form of religion, a loser religion if you will, because Christians stamped it out by the 2ND century because it was competition and considered a satanic religion. in my opinion though it is better than Christianity because it doesn't make you feel like a worthless piece of crap for not denying your natural instincts and urges.
Yes, Druid beliefs are closer to Paganism than atheists. The best way to find out about what Druids believe is to check out Ellen Evert Hopman's books and websites.

Druidry is both a Noe-pagan religion and a general spiritual philosophy that can be applied to any religion. For instance, Britain has a strong protestant christian druid following of which Winston Churchhill was a member. Really druidRys less about what you believe and more about how you practice what you believe (an orthopraxy as opposed to an orthodoxy). In druidry you experience the divine through nature. God (or the universe, or gods/goddesses) are revealed through nature. For christians there is definitely plenty of biblical basis for this as they are called to be stewards of the Earth. In paganism it is naturally fitting and most druids that I know are polythiestic. I mean after all no where in nature do we see any lifeform represented by a singular so it makes sense that if there is a god, there should be many. I personally have forged deep realtioships with several gods and goddesses as well as with nature spirits and ancestors. Go to www.adf.org to learn more about pagan druidry there you can even fid a local grove to visit.
The "ism" part is a modern invention, however, Druids were part of the High Class in Celtic Culture...........period.
They were educated, skilled, and were Honored for their value to the Tribe. Their "Religion" was usually connected to the Beliefs of their Tribe............"Christianity" has moved from its roots, and become a Death Cult, rather than a Celebration of Life....
Im a druidICCractitioner. The druids were the priest caste of the Celtic tribes in ancient Britain, they were visionaries, mystics, astronomers, law makers, etc....they did alto!lol. Druids are mostly polytheistic, meaning they believe in more than one deity of both sexes, male and female. Druids believe in eternal life and reincarnation, everything in the universe is alive and sacred to druids, we respect all forms of life, from every blade of grass to every giant tree, along with every animal and person. We align ourselves with the elements and work with magical beings of old to aid us in magi ck work. We also celebrate the 8 yearly festivals, Samhain, Imbolg, Beltane, lughnasadh, alban arthuan/winter solstice, alban eiler/spring equinox, alban heruin/summer solstice and alban elued/ autumn equinox.
