Default converting to Druidism? meeting places in ny?

I am 13 years old, and I go to a Catholic school in New York (not the city). For the past few months, I have been considering converting to Druidism. Now, some of you may say that there are no more Druids, but there is the RDNA (Reformed Druids of North America). I am wondering if maybe there are any temples, meeting places, etc. in the Mid-Hudson Valley.

I would like to learn more and become a part of this religion. Please do not insult, but I am open to opinions on the matter.

You probably would have much better luck looking for fellow Noe-druids in the bigger cities.

More people means more diversity.

Hmmm... "Mid Hudson Valley"...
Like around Saratoga Springs maybe or are you talking about somewhere near Dutchess County?

Pardon me for saying so...
But, as a former seeker myself, it sounds like you have your sequence wrong!

Get your information BEORE you make final decisions on which group you want to become associated with.

Try sites like Witchvox.com or meet up.com. They will help you find like minded individuals in your area.

Edit: Btw, any one that tries to condemn this person and tell them they are going to hell will be reported. That stuff violates the Community Guidelines.

You can check at http://www.witchvox.com/xvn.html -- it's primarily a networking site for Wiccans, but you can use it to track down Pagans in your part of the world. Someone listed there might know how to find Druids in your area.

Best of luck to you.

And a word of caution... don't go practicing behind your parents' backs. Lies are a very poor foundation for a healthy spiritual practice. Most groups won't take you on unless you have parental permission; if you can't get it, content yourself with studying mythology, history, and comparative religions until you reach the age of majority.

Check the Witchvox home page for your area, and they will list any active groves in the area.

Also, depending on which form of Druidry you are most drawn to (re-constructionist or revivalist) try looking at the following sites.....

Re-constructionist sites
http://paganachd.com/faq/intro.html
http://www.adf.org/core/

Revivalist sites
http://www.aoda.org/

There is also this site, who's membership includes both....
http://druidry.org/

All are good sites, with Lot's of information, and forums that you can join

May the road rise to meet you.
