Their origins define their differences. Celtic Druids, come from Ireland and Scotland. Greek mythology, well.. you know. Paganism is the name of all polytheistic religions. The center of the many branches.

They are the same in that they are all Earth-based Religions. There are a lot of differences, just like differences in Christian churches. To find out what is right for you, well, you have to read a lot, and try to find what is in your heart. One way to start is to go to WNW.beliefnet.com and take some of the Pagan quizzes, based on your beliefs , you can find out which one might be a good place to start looking for Answers, but only you know the answer that is right for you.

Any religion or following that depends on carved or made imagery is not approved by Almighty God.
Very few religions can pass this simple test..
(Exodus 20:4-6) ?You must not make for yourself a carved image or a form like anything that is in the heavens above or that is on the earth underneath or that is in the waters under the earth. 5?You must not bow down to them nor be induced to serve them, because I Jehovah your God am a God exacting exclusive devotion, bringing punishment for the error of fathers upon sons, upon the third generation and upon the fourth generation, in the case of those who hate me; 6?but exercising loving-kindness toward the thousandth generation in the case of those who love me and keep my commandments.

"Pagan" (or, more precisely, pagan) is an umbrella term for any of a number of spiritual paths that are either A) nature based and/or B) magic based. Wicca is the best-known, and the founding of Wicca in the mid-1940s pretty much started the paganGanmmunity. Druidism as it is now is a reconstruction (of varying qualities) of what modern researchers think might have been the Celtic priesthood in Ireland prior to the arrival of Christianity.

As for which one's right for you? Only you can decide that. I recommend just taking your time with it. There's a LOT to learn out there, and no need to hurry. Learn a little bit about a lot of things, find what interests you the most, and then study those things that really capture your attention.

I'd recommend checking out http://www.witchvox.com/xtrads.html to find out more about specific traditions, as well as http://www.paganachd.com/faq/ for specifically Celtic material.

As to books, I'd recommend Nicholas Graham's "The Four Powers" (which should be available on Amazon in the next couple of weeks, or you can try Googling it) as well as Graham Harvey's "Contemporary Paganism". Both of these will give you very different introductions to a number of paths. For further reading you might also like my book review blog at http://lupabitch.wordpress.com

Good luck
