Are Druze an ethnic group, or religious society?

Are the Druze from Lebanon an ethnic group or just a people of there own religious beliefs

just a religious group. 2 of my friends are Drucie and i have known these girls for years and i just recently knew they were Drucie. i knew they were proud Lebanese people, but i couldn't even tell what religion they were until they told me. in other words Drucie look like and act like any other Lebanese person would its just a religious group

Well it started off as a religion. Conversion isn't allowed now and Druze can only marry Druze, so they are kind of an ethnic group now after hundreds of years of only marrying there own. They are basically inbreeds. The rednecks of the Mideast.
