Default can someone explain me the mysterious religion Druze or Druziesim ?

for those that dint know what Druze is its a relay small religion that has followers mainly in Lebanon and Syria. why do followers of this religion never "advertise" their religion like other religions. what do you believe in? do you believe that only Druze will go to heaven? Do you have your own prophet and a holly book? thank you
PINKY. What do you mean a stupid question? many religions including Christianity and Islam believe that only its followers go to heaven. In christianity you have to accept Christ as Son of God and savour and in Islam you have to beleive in one God an that Mohammad is the seal of prophets so its not a stupid question your ignorant rude and stupid for saying thats stupid..
Anyways it seems like a cool and peacefull religion peace to all

Druze have a book called "Hekme" that is derived from the bible & the Qura'an ! Druze believe in all prophets reincarnated in certain people. Druze don't try to hide their religion. they're just not too much in number & that's why you don't hear about them often but it's complex to discuss all their issues here. It is a religion just like all the others. Druze Believe & God & good people go to heaven no matter what religion they are !

History/Founder: Druze was founded in the eleventh century by AL-Hakim, 6Th Fatimid Caliph, as a reform movement within Islam. The reforms proposed by AL-Hakim never caught on to mainstream Islam, and AL-Hakim began to believe himself first to be a prophet, and then, to be an incarnation of God. His mysterious disappearance while riding led many to believe he had been lifted directly into heaven.

Current leader/governing body: Ajawid and Uqqul, learned initiates, are the DE factor spiritual leaders, but there is no formal hierarchy.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Number of Adherents: About one million worldwide, with the majority in Syria.
Clergy: The Uqqul, learned initiates who act as spiritual leaders.

A very few Uqqul who are very learned become Ajawid, and are the spiritual leaders of the community.
Requirements to join: One must be born into Druze in order to be initiated. One cannot convert into the religion.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Church/temple: The Khalwa, a simple, sparsely furnished temple for prayers and getherings.
Scripture: Druzes accept as meaningful the Koran, the Judeo-Christian bible, and the writings of Hakim.

Required observances, dietary restrictions: Druze adherents wear customary dark robes and white head coverings, and avoid liquor and tobacco.

Code of Conduct: The Druze Code of conduct consists of seven principles:

love of truth
loyalty to other Druze
renunciation of all other religions
Avoidance of evil and evil doers
Accept divine unity in humanity
Acceptance of the acts of al-Hakim
Obedience to the will of al-Hakim

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Basic teachings and Beliefs of Druze: The Druzes are strict monotheists. They revere Hakim as an incarnation of God, and expect him to return one day. Druze are also unitarian, believing all mankind to be divine. They believe in reincarnation and the spiritual superiority of women.
Symbols: A five segmented star, symbolizing mind, soul, truth, will, and the material world:

The followers never advertise CZ they dint have a powerful leader to back them up since they are a small religion.

And that's a stupid question asking if we believe in Druz will only go to heaven, nothing is biased on their religion when going to heaven, their biased on their actions weather they will go to heaven or hell!

The prophet that i believe in is the mess anger from God,which is the prophet Mohammed!
And the ones from allele be it,including his son in law ofcourse!

There is not much that non Druze know because it's a closed religion.

The Druze consider their faith to be an interpretation of the 3 monotheistic (one God) religions: Judaism, Christianity and Islam.
They have no rituals or ceremonies because they believe that fasting and praying for God forgiveness will make us sin again and expect forgiveness so they have no fixed holy days or holy ceremonies, they live their faith all the time.

As I said the religion is closed to non Druze so you can't convert or join ( can't even marry a Drucie if you're not one).

They believe in reincarnation so they believe that when the religion first started ( I have no dates) it was open to everyone and if you (or your soul back then didn't join) too bad.

I think ( I might be wrong on this one) there is around 1 million Drucie worldwide all settled around where they started: south Lebanon ( most of them), north Palestine and some in Syria.

My answer will not be based on chunks pasted from other pages on the Internet but rather on my own experience with Druze.

The religion itself derives its elements from several religions including eastern ones such as Buddhism.

Druze are a minority in the middle east and basically they derived themselves from Islam forming a new religious sect. Due to their beliefs, they were persecuted, and hence, they chose to keep their beliefs secret.

Druze do not believe in the Bible nor the in the Koran as the literal words of God. They do believe in symbolic elements in those books however. Hence it is not strange to find Koranic verses on walls of Drucie for example.

Druze believe in the transmigration or the reincarnation of the souls. It is not unusual to hear about stories of reincarnation in Druze villages. Hence they do not believe in "heaven" or in "hell". They believe that good souls will transmigrate to a better status in the "next life".

They don't advertise their religion because they do not seek converts (for fear of persecution). Not only they don't advertise their religion, but they also don't welcome new comers. They also do not allow intermarriages.

Druze have their own holy book which is the "Book of Wisdom". Keep in mind that only those who choose to dedicate themselves for a lifetime of religious studies are those who are taught about the religion. Regular Druze know minimal about their religion - Barely enough for them to practice anything.

Druze believe in many prophets and do not have a specific prophet. For example, I have heard them mention Job a lot.

Druze celebrate the Adha Eid (with muslims) in addition to easter.

Hope this helps.

I believe every good person will go to Heaven... we don't know for sure which religion is the right one, each one of us, holds on to their religion and pray they get salvation.. each thinks theirs is the right religion... Druze are a minority and not every Drucie gets to know about its essence.. it is said that only good people, people who were decent and who never drank nor Emogene done bad in their lives and who dress in a certain way will be given the essence or "Secret" of the religion and it's called the Book of Wisdom. no one advertises their religion per say, but if they do, Druze do as well, they tell their children to be good, teach them well, introduce them to God and good deeds... of course I have my Holy Book and I believe so strongly in that.. "Kil WA7ad 3a Dino Allah y3ion" needless to say more
