Default Christians, Eastern Orthodoxy is the 2nd biggest denomination, after the Roman church

What do you know about their (Eastern Orthodox) beliefs?

Neither catholic nor orthodox are Christian. Both catholic and orthodox lead to eternal torment in hell, because they both teach a false gospel of works (Galatians 1:6-9).

True salvation is only by believing in Jesus alone to save you, without adding any of your own works (John 3:16, John 6:29, John 6:47).

Their beliefs are very similar to the Roman Catholic Church other than the Papacy.

Oh David, I think I am beginning to like you. I think you are vile and deranged, but still. You are most certainly misguided. One more time tonight: Catholics are Christian.

The Catholic Church split after the Council of Nicea. I usually never recommend Wikipedia as a source, but this time it's actually accurate:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eastern_orthodoxy#Early_Church This site lists the beliefs of the Eastern Orthodox Church, the history, the events leading up to the Nicean Council, and everything else.
