Religion for educated people is just for spiritual guidance and some moral values. ANd you can read religious books from any religion for that matter.
You don't need to convert at all. be with the religion you are born with as that will provide you a common social and family environment, which is very important.
Only fundamentalists convert.
An extreme example of conversion:
Prisoners in US converted to Islam and then became Islamic terrorists; got brain washed. Obviously they were uneducated.
So intelligent people don't have to convert as I don't see any gain in that except trying to fit in some group by showing with that action.
