FALSE. The Anglican Church came to be by an action of King Henry VIII - breaking away from the church in Rome - largely over his dispute with anyone (the pope) having authority over him and his people in England.

False. Anglican church came from the Catholic church. The Orthodox church and the Catholic church split long, long before the second split in the church.

Religion is religion. When there is a power struggle, folks break away. However, I don't believe this is the case in this instance.

I think false. The Anglican was formed in England, about the time the KJV of scripture was written, because a king wanted things the pope wouldn't permit, so the king promoted the Archbishop of Canterbury, to be like a pope. The head of a different church.

The English Church was under papal authority for nearly a thousand years, before separating from Rome in 1534 during the reign of King Henry VIII. A theological separation had been foreshadowed by various movements within the English Church such as the Lollards, but the English Reformation gained political support when Henry VIII wanted an annulment of his marriage to Catherine of Aragon so he could marry Anne Boleyn. Under pressure from Catherine's nephew, the Emperor Charles V, Holy Roman Emperor, Pope Clement VII refused the annulment, and, eventually, Henry, although theologically a doctrinal Catholic, took the position of Supreme Head of the Church of England to ensure the annulment of his marriage. He was excommunicated by Pope Paul III[2].

False. The Anglican church was formed when Henry VIII created a national church to replace Roman Catholicism in England. The Eastern Orthodox Church (church members consider their name to simply be Orthodox) had split from Roman Catholicism before the Anglicans did.

I am unsure but i do know that this church was formed in England and was known as the "church of the planters". It became very popular in the Caribbean during slavery.

false. The Eastern Orthodox broke with the Catholic church over the nature of the trinity. The Anglican church broke with the Catholic because the pope would not let king Henry get a divorce.

False
The Angican Church broke away from the Catholic Church and the Catholic/Orthodox Church split in 1054 (more or less since there were those who did not recognize the split like the Italo-Greeks)
