Default How OPEN is the Eastern Orthodox Church to other religions?

How Open is the Eastern Orthodox Church to other religions?Do they take part or hold festivals or conventions like the "Festival for religious diversity"?Or would they be considered "Bigot" or "Closed-minded"?

I hope it's the latter, seeing Moslem's,buddhist,Jews,Hindus etc. together saying that all is good to be non-christian.I know you probably want to call me names, insult me and I'm sorry if that offends you but God is not a respected of men,if your wrong I will not hold back to say it,I would try to be softened but never sugar-coated,I hope I will hear that the Eastern Orthodox are the same way.

May the Lord Jesus Christ bless you and may his light always shine upon you,

Markie

Open churches? All the churches I've ever known say that all others that aren't a part of their doctrine are going to go to hell. I say that we're all going to rot in the ground and be ate by worms and that's it. :-)

In worship, celebrating with non-Orthodox is forbidden. This means that Orthodox clergy are not permitted to officiate in non-Orthodox services, nor are non-Orthodox permitted to officiate in Orthodox services.

The Orthodox Church does strive to bring others closer to the truth, to help bring about the ending of misunderstandings so that we may become one as Jesus prayed --- but not at the expense of truth. To help foster understanding, the Orthodox Church was one of the founders of the World Council of Churches, but which seems to have gone so terribly off the rails lately that some Orthodox bodies have withdrawn from the WCC.
