Eastern Orthodox. But Cesar had a problem. Too many of the people were adhering to Christian ideology from the return of the Romans in the Holy Lands so the two kind of got intermingled and then you had the birth of the Roman Apostolic Church (later to be called the Catholic Church). This happened around 300 ad though, I think, but don't quote me on it.

About iconoclast
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Icon#The_Iconoclast_period

The Eastern Orthodox churches generally prohibit statuary. At one time this was a very divisive issue, but it is NOT one of the reasons for the Great Schism. Those reasons were
a) papal supremacy (the primary issue)
b) snuggling little differences regarding the doctrine of trinity

Both of us use them in Worship There was an Iconoclast controversy in the 7Th century and Church officials in both Rome and Constantinople condemned the anti icon movement in the 7Th ecumenical council. Latter the Catholics started using statues and the Orhtodox use stylized paintings.
