Yes they are all branches of the catholic church. I am catholic, I do not see other churches as enemies but I also do not think they have the whole truth

The Coptic Church is a splinter group from when the Eastern Orthodox and Roman Catholic church were one group.

In essence, every Christian church that exists is in some way an "illegitimate" child of the Roman Catholic Church. Even newer groups like the LDS Church and the Jehovah's Witnesses are outgrowths of the Protestant movement, which splintered from the Catholic Church.

Yes! Protestant Churches, JW, LDS and those who claimed that they are not Protestants but branched out of them are heretical!!! Yet! They are our brothers!!!

The answer to the first part of your question is "No". you really have to look at the history of each religion to see if it broke off from the Catholic church or not. The Lutheran and Anglican churches were once part of the Catholic organization but many others were never part of it. There are also secondary splits and so on. The Catholic Church itself was not the original Christian organization but was formed by Constantine who did not become a Christian himself until a supposedly deathbed confession.

The answer to the second part of your question is "yes". However the Catholic Church prefers to work against other religions behind the scenes through political maneuvering, rather than trying trying to prove they are right from the Bible; which is impossible for a Catholic to do with anyone who actually knows what it says. my Mother was raised as a Catholic, and so were my wife's parents but they left after studying the Bible.
