It is different. You have to travel through a world (3 days) of all the spirits that you pissed off or something to that effect and after you fight them off then you get go to where you are suppose to.
It doesn't differ that much from High Catholicism. To be in hell is to be separated from God. That separation will seem to be an eternal fire burning with brimstone.
God is love. And when the non-believer stands in the presence of that love and judged to be cast away, that casting away will be hell for them.
There is nothing really different except the name for Purgatory is different the Orthodox call it Hades. First their is heaven, then Limbo which lies between heaven and hell, then Purgatory is the upper portion of hell, while the hell were the dammed go is in the lower portion.
I believe they are same because Orthodox and Catholics dint have theological difference ON difference is with Pope. Doctrine is the same. They are the most united and true Christian churches, in my opinion.
