Any of you heard of Eckankar, what do ya think of it?

I personally think they're thoughts that god is light and sound and what not is very possible. I'm agnostic, not quite atheist but not sure either way. Other than that I think that it's a cult/scam. But isn't most religion?

I have heard of it, but have insufficient data to form a judgment. My impression is that it is hogwash.

Another new age religion, molding God into their own box.

I actually own the book - it was pressed upon me in an airport, and I never throw away books.

Started reading it once, and found it too be a mostly unintelligible mishmash of beliefs and unsupported statements of "fact". Sill have it, though.

most religious philosophy and dogma is not a scam although some practitioners use religion to scam people. Study the religious philosophy itself and not the messenger. If it doesn't make sense then it is not for you.

There are some ideas here already, but it's not for me.
I doubt that man will ever prove that there is or ever has been a God.
