All I know is before I was saved my best friend and I were church hopping and stopped at this tiny little building in my town, they were closed but had pamphlets outside of the door about the Eckankar faith. All I remembered is it sounded very new age and they used the term holy spirit alto and specified it was holy spirit but not like the Christian Holy Spirit. I found that odd and never looked into it any more for years, then recently I go ogled them and just saw alto of information about their "prophet" and alto of wealth he collected and it still seemed as strange as my pamphlet years before.
