Default I'm starting to suspect Islam branched off from Gnosticism. Am I right?

Both have several parallels but Gnostics don't believe in matter as of anything significant where Islam teaches to keep the body clean.

Islam branched off from early Christianity.
They couldn't agree about Jesus being a prophet or the son of god.

In the big mosque in Jerusalem there is even a statement on the wall: god does not have a son.
Now why would you want to make such a statement if there wasn't any debate about it?

Islam branched directly off of Abraham as it was founded by the people of Ishmael who was a son of Abram with his wife's handmaid Hagar.

Genesis 16-17.

The people of Ishmael were forever at odds with Issac & Jacob for he was sent away in favor of his son Isaac.
