If Gnosticism became the dominant form of Christianity, what would Christianity have

Imagine that Gnosticism became the dominant form of Christianity by the year 300 C.E., became the orthodoxy of the faith, and eclipsed all other forms of Christianity (Proto-Orthodoxy, Arianism, Nestorianism, Donatism, etc.). ?What would Christianity look like in the year 1500 C.E. if this supposition had actually prevailed.

Gnosticism never was Christianity. It was a cult like Mormonism is today.

The monarchies would have chosen another religion to galvanize their power.

We would be debating "sparks of energy" trapped inside "evil matter". And I suppose the Nicolaitans would have had to have won out because the other gnostic groups were celibate.
