Well they are in a way. To understand gnosticism, you must break free of previous religious programming you've had. Schizoids can do so so you can comprehend the truth in gnosticism easier than others.

The hidden knowledge aspects of some gnostic thought would certainly seem to appeal to schizoid personalities even more than the open but obscure knowledge aspects of mainstream Christianity (which certainly has major schizoid elements, especially for fundamentalists). Fortunately these problems are treatable if you are willing to seek treatment.

In some ways what you are saying is true. Your condition is treated as though it is a disease or a problem to be medicated.

It is not something that is wrong with you. It is simply an ability that you have. Hearing better than the average person is not something that is wrong with you. Society just wants to treat you that way because society can't tolerate anyone that is different.

The Gnosts practiced hearing what comes naturally to you. In what they heard they learned to focus on and recognize the truth.

God did not make a mistake when He made you.

Don't let anyone convince you that He did.

love and blessings Don
