Hello.

Knowledge of Our Divine Parents Above (God), of the Higher Spiritual Realms (the Heavens) and of divine mysteries.
Salvation through the Gnosis of Life (Yeshua).
Mystical immersion through the study of light and knowledge, to gain illumination from the corrupted material universe.

Seeker of God Most High

Why waste time. Gnostism is a system that exalts knowledge
above everything.

It is a foolish assumption built on a faulty proposition prove able to nobody in particular and is an insult to intelligent thinking people.

GOD IS THE SOURCE OF ALL KNOWLEDGE AND TRUE WISDOM!

You've had some nice dictionary definitions of the word so far but I'll sum up there basic tenants for you.

You earn your salvation by works.

Read Colossians 2 and realize the historical context. In Galitia and Ephesis Paul was com batting Judaisers who were saying that you must become a Jew to be become Christian. The problem with the Colossian church was Gnosticism.

Armed with that historical background go read Colossians again and esp chapter 2.
