Hindu?
What you're describing sounds more like Voodoo. Hinduism is just another polytheistic religion, but there's no spirit possessions that I've heard about.
Now Voodoo on the other hand does have spirit possession; it is a ritual where the 'priest' invokes a deity so that that deity may speak through him. This is typically accomplished by music, wild dancing (psychodrama).

Any religious person can still be possessed. I've heard Christians and Jews become possessed. My best friend who is Jewish in her late teens was always possessed and her parents were devout Jews.

So this "Hindu" thing you are saying has nothing to do with the possession. It has to do with the individual themselves regardless of their religion, background, upbringing, culture, etc.

It sounds like you are trying to make yourself believe that Christians are superior to Hindu's. A question like this only confirms your ignorance.

Your bias is classic. Get some education, now.

Really what is your problem with Hindus?

Afraid of their deep philosophical thoughts?

Are they are not converting to your beliefs fast enough?

Will it work if I sprinkle some of that holy water on you along with a prayer to Christ? Will anti Hindu sentiments which possess you will leave you alone and let your brains take hold again?

Holy water is only "holy" because it has been blessed by a holy person. If you live a holy life you too can bless water, or other objects. Holy water has no effect on those who do not appreciate the worth of its holiness.

You'd love to say these things at work. Probably best not to though.
1. "I can see your point, but I still think you're full of shit."
2. "I don't know what your problem is, but I'll bet it's hard to pronounce."
3. "How about never? Is never good for you?"
4. "I see you've set aside this special time to humiliate yourself in public."
5. "I'm really easy to get along with once you people learn to see it my way."
6. "I'll try being nicer if you'll try being smarter."
7. "I'm out of my mind, but feel free to leave a message."
8. "I don't work here. I'm a consultant."
9. "It sounds like English, but I can't understand a damn word you're saying."
10. "Ahhh...I see the screw-up fairy has visited us again."
11. "I like you. You remind me of myself when I was young and stupid."
12. "You are validating my inherent mistrust of strangers."
13. "I have plenty of talent and vision. I just don't give a damn."
14. "I'm already visualizing the duct tape over your mouth."
15. "I will always cherish the initial misconceptions I had about you."
16. "Thank you. We're all refreshed and challenged by your unique point of view."
17. "The fact that no one understands you doesn't mean you're an artist."
18. "Any connection between your reality and mine is purely coincidental."
19. "What am I? Flypaper for freaks!?"
20. "I'm not being rude. You're just insignificant."
21. "It's a thankless job, but I've got a lot of Karma to burn off."
22. "Yes, I am an agent of Satan, but my duties are largely ceremonial."
23. "And your crybaby whiny-ass ed opinion would be...?"
24. "Do I look like a people person?"
25. "This isn't an office. It's Hell with fluorescent lighting."
26. "I started out with nothing and I still have most of it left."
27. "Sarcasm is just one more service we offer."
28. "If I throw a stick, will you leave?"
29. "Errors have been made. Others will be blamed."
30. "Whatever kind of look you were going for, you missed."
31. "I'm trying to imagine you with a personality."
32. "A cubicle is just a padded cell without a door."
33. "Can I trade this job for what's behind door #1?"
34. "Too many freaks, not enough circuses."
35. "Nice perfume. Must you marinate in it?"
36. "Chaos, panic, and disorder - my work here is done."
37. "How do I set a laser printer to stun?"
38. "I thought I wanted a career. Turns out I just wanted a salary."
39. "Who lit the fuse on your tampon?"
40. "Oh I get it... like hum our... but different!"

Where does it say only Hindus get possessed by spirits or whatever?

I see it on western television all the time. THere are very serious problems of this in America. I think Sylvia Brown and others who come on television are always doing this kind of work.

Demon possession is like drug addiction. The DEMONS make it SOOOOOOOO ATTRACTIVE. Like a CRACK or HEROIN or MARIJUANA addiction! They are SNEEKY and deviate in tricking people into things. The Devil, in the BEGINNING took a SMALL LIIIIIEEEEEEEEE and made a MESS of the WORLD today! Don't fall for any TRICKS of ATTRACTION!!!

I think if you read the Bible you will find that Jesus once said some evil spirits are so strong, that they cannot be cast out except by Priesthood authority combined with fasting and prayer. You have to be careful not to judge people who have seizures or Tourettes syndrome. You did not describe how you thought the person was hurting themselves, so that is why I would be careful. I have know men in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints who have the Priesthood of Jesus Christ who have cast out evil spirits before, but I have not seen it in front of me. Have a good day.

I have found that every time I've heard of someone being "possessed" they were actually just someone craving attention.

I am a Buddhist, and in general, I don't believe in demonic possession.

If someone believes that allowing himself to be possessed by a spirit is part of their spirituality, and they WANT to do it, (as is often the case in Voodoo... a CHRISTIAN religion...) then you have no right to interfere.

Or perhaps I should run in and disrupt the holy sacrament, because drinking blood taints your soul?
