God is present everywhere, then why people are going to temple? In a week, how many times do u go to temple?
ONE MORE DOUBT: how many times should one recite Guthrie mantra ?
See, Even though god is present everywhere, people go to temples, as at every place, people can not get that concentration and relaxation which they get in temples
Firstly I am not Hindu, I am Muslim. Secondly God is not PRESENT everywhere, he is on his throne as he is the most High. However he is closer to you then your neck vain meaning he knows all and sees all. Howver he is not present in this earth. An example could be when you write to someone who lives very far and you write "I am with you" It is similar. God showers his mercy and blessings upon whomever he wills however he is far exalted than us and is no where near like his creation. He is the most pure, the most exalted.
To get complete concentration on God!Temple is a place that creates divine mood for anyone ,rich or poor, strong or weak, old or young. woman or man and so on!
You may go to temple any number of times depending on the time and distance !
How is it directed to Hindus? Why do Christians go to the church? Is god present in the church? Most of us are normal human beings. Most of us attach our faith to a specific building. We Hindus believe that God is present everywhere but we go to temples for the peace of mind, because we feel that we are closer to God in a temple. For Muslims, Christians and Jews God is is heaven and not a part of his creation but for Hindus god is the creative force that exists with everything. We respect other peoples beliefs. Hindusm is very new as well as very old. Hinduism is a constantly evolving religion. Differences exist between Hindu and Muslim communities in India but it is mainly because of political reasons and not religion. I go the temple when I get some free time, normally most of the religious Hindus pray inside their houses everyday.
Going to a temple is a very beginning stage of meditation. When we go to temple, our mind cools down and is concentrated on God, due to holy vibes around.
It is not a Prue-requisite though to go to temple/church/mosque to meet god. God is the core of our being, a spark of our consciousness . He is not a ruler sitting at Nth sky. With proper Yoga and Meditations we can meet him inside us...and then all around as essence of the universe.
